| With the cost of building signature bridges these days rising faster than the pumps can handle, the Greater Buffalo-Niagara Regional Transportation Council has arrived at a novel solution to close the gap: alter their Long-Range Transportation Plan to transform the Peace Bridge Expansion Project from one "financed with non-federal revenue sources" to one "funded with federal revenue sources."
It's only $90 Million now, but who knows, pretty soon --as Everett Dirkson would say-- we could be "talking real money."
